01 / PARAMETERS

Read the value with its unit and scope.

Diameter, mass, roundness and crush strength describe different properties. A reference value becomes meaningful when its product scope, unit and acceptance criterion are kept together.

Diameter and tolerance

Nominal diameter is the stated reference size. A tolerance gives the permitted deviation around that value; 3.5 ± 0.1 mm corresponds to 3.4–3.6 mm.

Whole-capsule mass

Mass must be read with its unit. The TDS value of 0.021 ± 0.001 g is equivalent to 21 ± 1 mg. Shell and core masses are separate quantities.

Roundness

Roundness is reported as a percentage in the TDS and inspection report. The applicable method and threshold belong to the specific specification.

Crush force

The TDS expresses crush strength in newtons (N). A value should be compared with another result only when the unit, method and acceptance criterion are understood.

02 / TDS REFERENCE

Reference data for seven 3.5 mm specifications.

The table below summarizes the physical parameters in the TOWIN technical data sheet. Its seven named products share a 3.5 ± 0.1 mm diameter reference; these values apply to those listed specifications.

The TDS expresses mass in grams. The listed 0.021 ± 0.001 g equals 21 ± 1 mg. Additional product data and storage notes remain in the original PDF.

03 / INSPECTION REFERENCE

A separate 3.4 mm blueberry specification.

The blueberry inspection report uses a 3.4 ± 0.1 mm diameter criterion. It covers a different specification from the TDS table above.

The values shown here are the listed acceptance criteria. The report records “Meet the requirements” for these checks rather than publishing individual raw measurements.

Batch number and production date are not completed in the public file. Read it as a reference report for the identified specification.

READING THE DATA

Common interpretation questions.

Why do the TDS and inspection report show different diameters?

They describe different specifications: the TDS lists seven 3.5 mm configurations, while the blueberry inspection report refers to a separate 3.4 mm configuration. Keep each value attached to its own specification.

Is a mean pressure criterion the same as a within-range pass rate?

No. The inspection report states 17.7 ± 2.0 N for the mean and separately requires at least 95% of results within 17.7 ± 7.0 N. These are different acceptance criteria.

Does a public reference report identify a specific batch?

The public inspection file leaves the batch number and production date fields blank. It can explain the listed checks, but a batch-specific report needs completed identification and traceability fields.

Can a safety data sheet replace a product test report?

The documents serve different purposes. Safety information addresses handling and related topics; a test report records inspection criteria and results. Read both within their product scope.
